Smartphone for 15k

Guys I am looking for a smartphone in 15-16k range

I want a stylish phone which dont hangs much...give at least 1 day battery life...good sound quality...USB OTG..

What I dont do- Dont watch videos, dont play games, dont use softwares much maybe just opera, battery indicator.

Although I have put custom ROM on my 5800 right now and can do all those customizations...but its only if necessary

I just loved the design and feel of Samsung Omnia W
Specs and UI all is great..

Bluetooth issue is fine with me...dont transfer files through that ...but would love if the device is detected as mass storage device.

Any chance of SE ARC price coming down or Sony xperia U releasing soon

Omnia W is smooth and a simple phone.
Go for if you want a windows phone.
But why not go for android?
You didn't liked Neo V!!!
If you liked Ray then why don't you buy it? But I want to suggest you one thing that go for atleast 3.7" display.
Galaxy S Plus for 17.5 is a very good deal I think.
Apart from that you can get Arc S in local market for 21-22k if you are good at bargaining.Its price will go down as soon as new phones come in market.We can expect Xperia U to come in a month.
But I don't suggest you to get Arc as I have compared Arc with my Incredible S and found that Incredible S is better than Arc.So now I hope you make a right decision.

if you can wait, you may get Galaxy Ace 2. It has nice specs but weak camera and screen is plain LCD.

then Omnia W is best phone for 15k for u

it's is latest generation windows phone. i suppose we can get Apollo (WP 8) in this phone (not officially announce yet )

some limitation of Omnia W that i don't like

Battery won't get charge in switch off mode
marketplace is good but most of application r paid
battery life is not that much impressive
internet explore is very fast but it lag opening some site
cannot interact with USSD service
don't have equalizer in music player
u cannot send/ receive msg if u have 3g data connection active
u cannot toggle 2g/3g mode easily

Arc S & S Plus will never come down to 15k. Ace2 & Neo V have a chance to be priced close to 15k before getting discontinued.

Xperia U with 4Gb usable memory is less even for music.

it's may not WP issue. i think it's Omnia W issue .


i think its not good choice to buy windows phone yes i use windows mobile log time back

don't know why Microsoft stop old windows mobile and make windows phone from scratch

i m thinking to sell my omnia w

using windows phone is just like flying jumbo jet ! they r fast but u can't fly plane everywhere

i agree with "Sam" that Arc S & S Plus will never come down to 15k
Arc s is awesome if you can, try to get from US for 20k.
as some one said in the previous post, you never get the below 25k in local market.

Arc S or for 15k is kind a impossible in upcoming months but yes we can expect the price to be around 20k in a month when new mobiles are released in India and somewhere around 18k in few more lets say 3-4 months.And as we can get S Plus for 17.5k today also from ebay,I don't think its not a bad deal,in near future can say in 2-3months I think one get it for 15k if it is not discontinued by the compnany

And hopefully the price of Neo V will be around 14k in around 1-2months.
As you all know I am a big fan of HTC, I am really waiting for them to release some good phone in mid range budget as they haven't come up with anything new from a long time.Now lets see what have in the plate in upcoming months.
All we can do is wait n watch.
