SE Live With Walkman ICS update problem

Yesterday my friend updated his Sony ericsson Live With walkman to ICS. But after the update updating music library takes half an hour or so. Its really irritating. Also no song can be played by directly selecting it using file manager. How to solve this problem ?

downgrade to Android 2.3 and wait for Android 4.0.4 update. A few days ago i heard Sony has sent out another update for its 2011 Xperia lineup. maybe that update solve all these and also after any official update, always factory reset the mobile to delete any left over files from the update.

His phone's android version is 4.0.4

Reset the phone and install the update again

i think reset should be sufficient. these lags are cause of lack of free space in memory dedicated to system.

update it to the recently released 0.587 firmware ...it has solved most of the issues
