Residents of Bangalore, please help

I will most probably moving to Bangalore from next month. I will be enrolling in a course at the CDAC Knowledge Park (*goo.gl/maps/7PjZ9). [The institute is just beside the Baiyappanahalli Metro station]

I was overjoyed when I saw that there is an EVDO connection in Bangalore. I need to find accomodation someplace near to my institute and where I will get the signal of an EVDO tower.

If someone could suggest some places where there are a lot of Mess/hostel accommodation at cheap rates and on the metro line and is near to any BTS (1-2KM radius), it would help me immensely.

You will find it easier to travel by metro

Since I am looking to stay there for only 6 months, I wanted to use my present EVDO connection.
Will I get PG ads on OLX or Quikkr?
