And he would have spent atleast 4X working hrs more on
composing Marudhaani than Taxi Taxi..

By the way it takes a bit of time for me ( and many) to like Rahman's work. 1st time
it would be like "how weird"..but one week later i'll be humming the
same piece 24*7 . I hated "Kaadhaldesam" when I heard it first. But later it
turned a favourite.

^^ that's ARR speciality..U wil surely hate his songs when u hear it for the first time..but later, u will hum and then u will start singing the same everyday, everyminute. Like I do

No one cares whether ARR copies the songs..but he uses his own tunes in other languages. So no issues.

I too like Marudhaani song esp the hum by ARR himself. It's gonna rock.

Nice album altogether. Especially those two. Both complement each other even when heard in any mood. Maruthani is really melting and Taxi is definitely rocking (eh... rapping?!)

I read the review on hindu, plus some friends reported colourful puking after half an hour into the movie, so I'm gonna be safe and not watch it.

The movie was not even worth for a penny.... Rather than calling as movie, i'd just say this as ARR's music album...
The only worth part of the film is the songs, and even though i know that movie is bad, i only watch it for pleasure of hearing songs in theatre...
So sakkarakatti = ARR's Music Album.... I am 100% sure abt that...

nowadays, average quality songs are accepted/felt as superhit/most favorabled songs bcoz of the succession of the films...

i want to tell arr something as follows;

Please don't waste your invaluables for such type of worst film..
pl consider the screenplay before you accept for any film..

ARR must hv accepted this mov due to the banner..its big and their home production. ARR fell for it. But think abt ARR, whoever takes the movie, whoever acts in it, whatever the screenplay is..he does his part best.

Are there any movie in which ARR failed in his compilations??? rarely 1 or 2. for ex., udhaya.

Me too watch ARR movies for the pleasure hearing his compilation in the theatre with all effects.

ARR Rocks anytime, anyday.
