Hi.

I am getting a PC with the following config for a friend. Can you suggest a beefy PSU that can handle these components?

Core i3-530
Intel DH55TC board
Transcend DDR3-1333 2GB * 2
XFX ATI HD 5670
Seagate 2 * 500 GB SATA 7200rpm HDD
Seagate 250 GB HDD (old)

Thanks.

Corsair CX400W or VX450W.
also a few tagan PSUs.

i'll recommend get Corsair or FSP.

Thanks, I am getting the FSP Saga II 500 W. Are FSP PSUs very good? I was recommended one for my AMD PC too, in another thread.

Since the FSP Saga II was not available at the store, I went with a Huntkey V Series 500W PSU. Is it good?
