Just the PSP would've been fine actually. Its a complete portable multimedia powerhouse. It can play games (duh!), playback music (sound quality is as good as iPod), playback videos (supports more formats than iPod and display is bigger and better as well), it has wi-fi and internet browser and you can also play multiplayer games with other PSP owner with the wi-fi. Plus for gaming, the design of PSP is absolutely great. I'll prefer the physical buttons over the virtual buttons on a touch screen anyday. Plus the PSP has a great collection of games which is increasing everyday.

So IMO, the PSP is much better than any iPod and a much more complete device and also offers more bang for the buck. It retails for the same price as an 8gb iPod Nano, but still packs much more under the hood (except for the memory which can be expanded in PSP).

Are you getting the PSP and an iPod touch or a regular iPod? As I wouldn't recommend getting both touch and PSP. Get a nano and a PSP or a classic and a PSP, as they are primarily DAPs and not PMPs.

If you are getting an iTouch and PSP, I wish I was you. ;)

Why don't you just get the PSP and then a iPhone. As you say you are going to get a iPod Touch anyways.

Ummm... u PMed me for the i-pod that i've put on sale in Bazaar section here but still i think i should let you ppl know that PSP is much better in my opinion as i'm much more into gaming than in music.

I brought i-pod thinking that i'll develop a liking to listening music but i failed miserably LOL :D

I got my PSP and since then i hardly look towards my pod.
Although its quite impractical in my thinking to use PSP for listening to music and watching video n surfing net but still PSP rocks and although i hardly use my i-pod but still it has been quite hard for me to decide to seprate from the lovely pod coz it is one beautiful piece and been my very good companion for watching movies as i have seen over 100 movies on it when i leave for outstation or home but then thats the only use i put it to and so m selling it off for a Digicam
