a 4-channel chopper @799 looks kinda cheap ! i wonder how long they last ?Nope. Definitely no. It too dangerous not to mention I dont believe anyone under the age of, say, 10 would be able to control a RC helicopter. Its just too tricky, kind of like learning to balance a cycle. Not to mention it can hurt a child.

I wasn't there to receive the item from FedEx courier. My sister took it but the FedEx guy forgot to take payment (it was a COD order)
I shot off an email to Game4U yesterday upon finding out that no payment had been done, but Game4U has not responded yet oddly enough.
Also, I happen to have extra codes for the Stalker and Brawler packs. Anybody looking to trade?

Makes sense though, i3 and i5 in mobile space are exactly same architecture, just clockspeeds are different, weird, but 15R comes with both i3 and i5.
BIOS, DXDIAG, Speccy etc all show i3 though, HAL reporting issue? I was expecting the turbo to magically work but FML.
Anyone have any idea about this?

A little difference yes, haven't tested gaming yet. It actually lifts the laptop vents, so I can put it on bed now without needing books, the fan helps a bit too.^^Congrats. Is the fan making any big difference in temperature?

Nothing I think, its just CPU Z is showing core i5 in the name region, no models like i5 xxxx etc as it shows usually, when my laptop has an i3 CPU. I explained the possible cause back there, now to find out what's causing it.

These laptop cooler fans dont really prove to be outstanding in "Cooling" when its summer in india and one do not have AC in his/her room or even if he/she but lacks a proper airflow (which can be felt ). I have Dell XPS 15 which i've been using for regular routine heavy gaming for at least 5-6 hours in evening time for last 2 years and more...my laptop temp reaches as high as 94 Degrees in summer and that too with A cooler Master ErgoStand 3000Rs cooler Pad. It just helps me avoiding my backache and keeps the temp under 96, which is already high!!!!
I did all these combos with the laptop and the cooler....
1. Summer time, day time, room fan, no A/C, basic Airflow --> Max Temp at top load--> 94.4-96
2. Summer time day time, room A/C, With Fan, elevated Airflow--> 93.5 Max Temp at Load
3. Summer time day time, Pedestal Table Fan running at MAX RPM right behind the inflow vents of cooler Pad, No A/c, MaX Temp--> 90-91
4. Summer time Day time, Pedestal Table fan at max thowing at inflow vent, room Fan at max, A/C on, temp--> 88-90
this point 4 Caused me serious threat from mom as i looked abnormal with 2 fans 1 AC 1 Laptop Fan ON behind my laptop to achive a egg-half-fry temperature. Let alone the noise, electricity bill..and medicine to get rid of stupid cold in month of july.
I also did same benchmarking at night and got .5 deg temp difference after 10.P.M
@winter i will tell later, its far off now, it will be march soon.
But one thing...what i do not expect any of sane minded people would do, i did, after the exp at home, i took the liberty to bring the big-a$$ fan to my PG, it did not have AC, so i replaced the effect with ice cubes, cold water, a bucket , thermocol casket, wet cloth ( cant explaint the setup now, may be i'll be banned)... and finally after 2 hours of "mehnat" i achieved 78-85 at max load...YESSS
Ok now, i tell myself may be i have world-record beraker overheating issues, may be i should change my thermal paste every hour, may be i should stop playing games but then the point comes....WHY THE HELL IS THAT COOLER FOR????? 1-2 deg temp drop? may be 5?
