Don't know buddy, I had purchased my Lancool cabby from ITWares, no such hassles. Road permit was needed but I don't have to be bothered about that. The courier co (most probably DTDC or Blue Dart) took care of it.

Also I have spend extra for air shipping, don't know why fedex still wants the permit. In my other purchase (RAM, cables etc.), they took almost 2 weeks to deliver what was marked as priority overnight shipping.

Will take time. I have very little option in my hand, and want to squeeze as much as I can. Lets see. Hopefully, ebay can throw some great deal. The Onkyo ST3400 was 25k shipped last week, too bad they were asking for Road permit to ship at Patna. Already stuck with the Silverstone cabinet because of this. Not going to purchase any other thing until the PC is up and running.

If you really want good sound for music & movies then go for separate AVR like denon !912 or pioneer 1012 which cost around 40000 to 45000 but u can import the same from (amazon.de) just for 28000 to 30000 & buy 5.1 energy take classic 5.1 HT package .u will blown by the sound difference in onkyo st3400 .hope u like my suggestion well i was collecting to buy these receiver for my ht package so i think i should suggest u the same as a forum colleague:)

I know; purchasing separate AVR and speakers would be the best as far as performance goes, but budget constraint. Also Amazon.com was showing can't ship such large items to my address. :(

In my opinion save some money & purchase an AVR
Denon AVR 1912 7.1 AV-Receiver: Amazon.de: Elektronik
u can ship from amazon.de in India the same receiver is costing 45000 in India its a 7.1 receiver with airplay etc . one of the best AVR for 2011. & it costing 28000:shock: including custom & shipping. u will the the best sound from these receiver.

I would prefer a 5.1 receiver over a 7.1 one. Rest of the specs looks good. Have you ever purchased from Amazon.de?

Anyway, we can talk via PM, we are going OT here. :)
