E228WFP 22" for 19500/- whoa...its really dirt cheap. i wish i had that much cash to buy it.

E228WFP 22" costs me Rs. 16000+Delivery. I have talked Mr. Raghu. He offered me that price. He offered me SE198WFP @ Rs. 11750+ Delivery charges.

D Dell site quotes it @ 14500 inc of taxes n shippin but dis guy got me one fer 12500 inc of everythin and a DELL xclusive 5 yr warranty...

nice info gannu....im from delhi..i have samsung 940bw right now. i want to upgrade to a 22" widescreen have got 22-25k to spend for that .do u know someone like Mr. Raghu in delhi....

Gannu be careful and see the Bill/ Invoice and check out warranty buddy after getting it. I am thinking to have 22". US website said only $ 306. Its so cheaper Almost Rs. 12500/- but then cant ship it here of course.

If u buy a Dell product in India it'll come from the US only but they'll charge u different price...further Dell is planning to come to India with its retail plans but that will take some time...
The accessories dept is also not available in India as of now..similarly the full range of computers are also not available in India
A handful of Inspiron laptops,only one model of XPS portable (the cheapest one),a few monitors and a few desktops are available in India under home and home office segment..
The XPS desktop range,full Inspiron laptop and Dimension desktop range,complete monitor range and accessories are all coming to India soon as soon as Dell begins complete India operations....till then Dell sells computers over the phone only from Dell Bangalore...be adviced

the whole pc costs around 34k

no probs faced till now the system is really cool..and i must say that the C2D range of intel processors are really cool .

my previous system runs at around 50-70 degree celcius which is a intel 2.8 HT with 865 mobo.

while this C2D system runs at below 40 degree celcious even at gaming thats really cool .

Come on yaar... Its a pretty old game... If FC, being almost 3 year old, wont run at the highest setting then I should probably give up hopes of running any current gen games like STALKER at a decent settings, let alone any future game like Crysis...

5. One smartpower 600va ups for Rs. 1350
(as power cut is not a prob in my place)

Also whwre to find ide to sata cables in chadni? I have found ide to sata cards but that is not the thing i am looking for

Your proccys temp is on the higher side .... My C2D (E4300) runs a lot cooler... Early thirties(max) while idling... But then yours is a Pentium D i think ;they are notorious for their heat generation.... So maybe that temp is normal for your proccy....

Intel Dual Core idling at 49C is fine but you should have got C2D E4300. BTW, congrats for the purchase.
I got the XFX 650i Ultra for 5k + vat from Rashi.

Well perhaps a 8600GTS or maybe in Sli.. In Sli tho it'd overtake...

Anyways my new behemoth is arrivin dis July 11th frm UAE...

Again FOI Dell will commence India operations shortly and most likely has inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Chennai

After emailing their support, I find i have to wait till Thursday as then its expected to new stocks to arrive !!!
