IronMan; Ready to Roll...
Aluminium Unibody MacBook
- Intel Core 2 Due 2.0 GHz
- Nvidia Gefore 9400m 256 MB dedicated graphics
- 160 GB HDD
- 8x Slot-Loading Superdrive
- 13.3" 1280x800 Glossy Glass shielded screen

Price in INR - 75,000 with 2 year local warranty on everything!
Place - Katmandu, Nepal.

Logitech Alto Express Notebook Stand
Awesome notebook stand. May feel expensive for a piece of moulded plastic but extremely happy with it. Used to convert your laptop to get a desktop style work environment.

Price in INR ~ 2200

Logitech Ultra Flat Keyboard - USB
Goes great with a notebook. Extremely comfortable to type and makes very little noise. For touch typists.
Price ~ INR 600

Logitech Cord Wrap USB Mouse
Good mouse for windows. Played Crysis Warhead with it, though not good for gaming. :D Very comfortable, and light.
Does not work well in Mac OSX despite the mentioned support.

Price in INR ~ 600

Microlab 2.1 speakers
Good bass. Good mids, but not so good treble. Gave great sound after tuning the EQ a bit. Has a handy wired controller, extrmely important for a 2.1 system as subwoofer has to be placed firmly on the ground.
Price in INR ~ 900

Logitech Dual Action Gamepad
Responsive, good enough. First gamepad, so cannot compare. Still its worthwhile. Could have bought chinese ones too at 1/4th the cost, but the brand simply took me over.
Played NFS Undercover with it. Was difficult as I had never used it before. But got used to it within a short time. Damn good build. Drivers came in small disk though, that doesnt work with my slot-loading drive MacBook.

Price in INR ~ 1100

UMAX USB Hub
Not very good build quality. Bought it because though it is bus-powered, it had an adapter port for using with external power.

Price in INR ~ 280

4 in 1 Card Reader
Cheap chinese, it works fine but I hate chinese low quality goods. :x Better ones werent available at the time

4Gb Kingston DataTraveler
No cap for USB, retracts into the body. I hate that! But bought it hastily.
Price ~ 400

Moser Baer 10-Pack DVD-R
Used one, good enough, hope none of them fails.
Price ~ 120

iPod Chargers
Desperately needed wall charger for my iPod Touch. Apple one costs a bomb. And was afraid to try out the aftermarket ones.
Got one ultimately. Tha pack has,
- iPod Wall charger with USB port
- Data cable
- Car cigarrette lighter charge with USB port

Price ~ 200 :D

Added

Transcend 2 GB microSD card with SD adapter
Good performance for the price. Enough for me and my HTC Gene.

Price ~ 250

Wait, there's more purcahse to come.
But after all this, there'll be a long time w/o any purcahses.

@ Psychosocial .. Thanks. Yeah, big purchase for someone like me. :)

Depends on where you work, what sub-speciality you choose, whether you go to those privates where people are looted, or you go to the good ones where money is less but self-respect is more. Hope you get it. I wanna become a good human being afterall. :)
