skil 6806 - quite small and handy, 900gms of weight it says, hopefully will be able to use for drilling/grinding/screw driving on metal box, wood /pvc fixtures etc.
damage 1600 -10%.
[SPOILER]but have a confusion here, at the lowest torque, with low press, the spindle doesn't rotate, even though motor rotates - in fact the spindle doesn't seem to lock onto the motor itself. but in slight higher/medium/high torques it seems to work fine..... so is this normal ? i have a hammer drill. i confirm that it too does not rotate on the lightest touch on the trigger, only the motor engages. only after pressing a bit more does the spindle rotates. so i guess thats normal, although i have no idea why that happens. :P
also, the drill bits for wood, brick, tiles, metal are all different and drilling in [reinforced]concrete needs hammer drill and specialised bits, but i guess you already know that ;)
in case of any queries dont hesitate to ask.
^^ I agree to that. the one I have is almost the same, except that rotary thingy. The motor goes into motion, humming but the drill chuck doesn't rotate. This, I think is normal behaviour, in both, normal and hammer modes.i have a hammer drill. i confirm that it too does not rotate on the lightest touch on the trigger, only the motor engages. only after pressing a bit more does the spindle rotates. so i guess thats normal, although i have no idea why that happens.

I bought this from FK on the Big Billion Day. Actual Damages 350 bucks. Had got a 1K FK voucher from a contest. Must say it's a great product, looks sturdy and is heavy. Will post the pics in the evening.

Really? I bought it normally. Even today, it's at a good price - 1468. The second lowest I've seen in over a month (the lowest was on the big billion day). You should go with it, if you still want to.even i tried to get it. it was on steal deals. damn thing went out of stock as soon as i ordered it.
