I am looking for alternative software for:

1. Adobe reader - It uselessly hogs too much disk space & keeps on updating. Please suggest a lightweight alternative for it. I just use it read .pdf files. No advanced uses.

2. Nero Express - To burn data dvds & .iso images.

3. Nero Vision - The alternative software should be able to create DVD player compatible movie DVDs from .avi & .mkv files. Also it should be able to compress 3-4 movies to a single layer DVD & create menus.

I am looking for alternative software for:

1. Foxit !

2. Imgburn - once you know how to use it you won't look back to any fancy app !

3. DVD Flick or AVStoDVD or FAVC - see which one works best for your needs.

I tried all three of them & DVD Flick has the best-user interface & functions. But wierdly it does not compress movies well.

I'm now going to try DeVeDe.
