hi i am new to android. plannig to buy SE live with walkman. Please suggest me is it good or any other alternative in that range.

under 15k there is another option. Xperia Mini Pro but then again screen size decreases by 0.2". Well go with Live With Walkman.

Just extend your budget a lil bit and get Neo V

As i checked many mobiles in the recent days , can tell that LWW is definitely a decent buy.
Imp factors : -
1. Size looks a bit bulky to my taste and it does not have killer looks ( again depends on person )
2. Battery is 1200 mAh and being a walkman phone I doubt whether it can withstand 1 or 1.5 days
3. UI is good and it is very fluid
4. You will get a 4gb card along with the phone which is an bonus.
5. Saw a free headphones ( mentioned as premium headset wrth 2500) being given with LWW along with the usual headset.
6. Not many phones in this budget have 1Ghz procs ( other than a few from xperia series)
Would advise you to go n check the phone in a live demo which would help you in making the decision.
