New pc needed

My friend needs a new pc.

Budget is 60,000.

It will be used for watching hd movies and listening to music.
He wants a monitor of 23-26 inches.

He will need a cool pc as temps go easily above 40 in summers and he has no ac.

Please suggest me the best configuration.

With the info provided above, i can suggest only this :
Intel DH67CL(B3) @ 5.5K
Intel Core i3 2100 @ 6k
Corsair Value Select 1333 MHz DDR3 4GB @ 1.1K
Seagate barracuda 1 TB @ 5k
Asus Dvd writer @ 1k
Radeon HD 6670 @ 5k
Corsair Carbide 400R @ 5k
Corsair CX430V2 @ 3k
Samsung P2350 @ 10k

For speakers, get any good 5.1 channel speakers from Edifier or logitech for 6k. Buy basic keyboard and mouse for less than 1k. I don't know much about UPS, but you'll get a suitable Ups for less than 2k. Total would be around 50k. The rig would also be enough to run games at good resolutions. If your friend is gonna watch only movies, then the rig can be brought to even 30k.

if you want to OC, go for a better one

@OP: Suggest your friend to get a Pc for 30k to 35k(It would serve the purpose mentioned above) and a AC for the rest of the money.

he wanted a cool pc, i couldnt find any cyclone/hawk cards, so i gave him the cheapest one with decent cooling.

also, i dont know whats wrong with OP, but if i had a 60k budget, i'd think of gaming, not just music and movies xD.

and a processor is important for encoding/decoding.

i readoned that anyone investing that much money will want to encode/rip/decode/do other audio/video things

Optional upgrades for a MUCH cooler cpu

prices slightly out of date, like 2-3 months
upgrade hdd/monitor
and get a cheaper mobo/gpu, if you dont want so powerful ones.

No point in going for a p67 based chipset with a non k processor. Better go for h67 or h77.

The config I suggested you is best suited for movies. Just change the graphic card to Sapphire hd 7850 OC version @ 16k , mobo to Asus M5A97 @ 6K and processor to AMD 970BE @ 8k. This would be the coolest config at your budget.

a locked cpu with a igp board, its completely legit

edit : my bad, i wanted the "H" series, not the P series
and the h series can take advnatage of the igp. my bad.

Don't entertain this trend of just mentioning the budget and asking for a configuration friends. If one starts off, all new members will start doing the same. After suggesting they'll come up like "I already have this, I don't want to purchase online, I don't want to overclock" and so on. I know, it may sound dumb, but I still insist that OP fill the Questionnaire Template.

Agreed. But I think that OP hasn't seen our posts regarding template(he went offline), that is why he hasn't edited his post. So we should wait for his move.
