1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I'll be playing games of various genres like COD, battlefield, skyrim,diablo3,fifa12,mass effect3,Dirt3.. and will be running various software such as catia,pro-e,ansys,solidworks etc..

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:max extension to 65k.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:In 1.5-2 years

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1tb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:i am a bit confused here.. i bought a monitor during the start of year aoc e2043fsk. now i dont have issues with it but its only 1600*900 screen with only vga input.. i am thinking of selling it off and getting a 20 or 22 inch fhd monitor(led/lcd)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:mouse i have corsair M90, mouse pad,speakers(dont need i have good headphones)

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:second week june

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Done by an assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Lamington road. Ill buy it locally.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: also suggest a good keyboard within budget of 2k( excluded for above budget)
I am leaning towards i5 2500k and asrock z77 ex4.. primeabgb is giving me a combo of i5 2500k+asrockz77extreme4+corsair vengeance 8b at 26k
I wont be upgrading the pc much for next 2-3 years.. maybe a ssd if i have an inflow of cash so need to be future proof.

^^Good config. Just get the ASUS optical drive instead of LG. And I don't think APC 800VA is available anymore at that price. OP can look into Microtek 800VA or Intex 1KVA.

@d3p : Edit the minor typo in the case buddy.

still have doubts over the motherboard.. read somewhere asrock has llc issues..
frankly have no clue what they are...
what about a good keyboard in 2k(preferably mechanical)
and the cabinet... really liked the looks of 400r:hyper:

Carbide 400R is best in terms of features and looks in the 5k price range. It has a huge backplate cutout, good space for cable management, front usb 3.0, radiator support, and many other features. Buy it if your budget permits.
