On My laptop the lowest score in WEI is 3.9 due to the 1.65Ghz Dual core proccy. / On my PC , its 3.7 due to the RAM.i thing i would like to know that after upgrading my Laptop's RAM performance has been increased. Applications are running smoothly.. But Still the Windows Experience Index is 2.6 which is very less IMO..
Is this normal???
What is your Windows Experience Index score?? share the snapshot if possible.
Windows Experience Index is quite confusing and does not produce precise results. It actually provides the final rating based on the lowest possible score your system achieved from your PC components.
So , if your PC has 2.9 rating based on CPU , no matter how much surplus ram or fast SSD/GPU,etc you throw in to it , it will still display 2.9score , if the CPU is all the way same.
All that matters is a noticeable performance increase.Thats it.!!! WEI is just for fun( ).!!
WEI just lets you know that out of all the parts , which one is bottlenecking the performance of rest of the other parts. To find the Dumbest Fish in the Pond.
