3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Frankly, I have no idea about overclocking. Dont know how to do that.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 2TB- 1TBx2

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

Here is the config with Overclockable Capabilities. Well, now a days a 10 yr old kid can overclock by google-ing around & read few articles.

PSU : Seasonic X850 - 8k
Optical Drive : Asus DRW-24B3ST - 1k

HDD : Cavair blue 1TB - 5.2k

CPU COOLER : Noctua NH D14 - 5k

SSD : Corsair FORCE SERIES 120 GB - 7.5k(optional)
Total=122k

If it overshoots your budget then remove ssd and add it later when you have money.
Update the firmware of SSD when you get it.
For gaming you don't need i7-2600k.
Gaming performance of an i5-2500k would be identical to i7 2600k.

Take hd7970 over gtx680 as with the new drivers which are going to be released hd7970 performs better in most games.
Also hd7970 overclocks better.

Dell U2312H is an ips monitor,has better viewing angles and better colour reproduction.
Also pick up ATX mobo over mATX.Better for future upgardation and expansion.

For the amount of money you're spending for gaming purposes, going with either GTX 680 or Radeon HD 7970 will be a good idea as games these days depend mostly on performance of the gfx card in your system.

Also, since you're gaming at 1080p (& not higher) I'll advice you to go with GTX 680 2GB gfx card, but that's just my preference. If you are planning on doing multi-monitor gaming or gaming at higher res like 2k & above in future then go with HD 7970.

The mobo you picked is a good one, are you planning on doing crossfire/sli in future?

@vkl where did you find seasonic x850 for 8k??? It costs ~10k not 8k.
AND why are you all suggesting a z77 series board with sandy bridge??? OP wont be able to utilise the features offered by the board without Ivy bridge.
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k: 13k
Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V: 13k (An awesome mobo with 3 pcie x16 slots and ASUS branding under 15k)
RAM: GSkill RipjawsX 8GB: 3k
HDD: Seagate 1TB: 5.2k
SSD: OCZ Vertex 60GB: 5k
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 7970: 36k
or
ASUS GeForce GTX 680: 36k (Personal choice)
or
Zotac GeForce GTX 670 AMP! Edition: 30k
Optical drive: LG 22x SATA DVD writer: 0.9k
PSU: Corsair TX750V2: 6.5k
Monitor: Samsung P2350: 10k
Case: NZXT Guardian 921B: 4k
Mouse+Keyboard: Razer Cyclosa bundle: 2.5k
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D14: 5k
UPS: APC 1.1KVa: 4.5k
Total: With HD 7970 and GTX 680~110k
With GTX 670 AMP! Edition~104k
Note: The GTX 670 AMP! outperforms all the stock GTX 680s and there is no OC'ed version of GTX 680 under 40k in my knowledge.

ASRock Z77 Extreme6 Motherboard is a very good mobo for the price.
If you want asus motherboard then asus P8Z77 V-PRO is a good option.

@maheem
Dont go for a mATX(asus maximus v gene) motherboard.
ASRock Z77 Extreme6 and Asus P8Z77-V Pro both are good motherboards.
V-PRO has a wifi chip.

@Utkarsh Sharma
Thanks for pointing out.Didnt edit that from previous posts.Would edit it.
May be d3p found a good deal in Bangalore.

Price difference between some z77 and z68 boards is not that much.
