Actually mate that one is a PCI card but my MB supports only PCI-E card.

@d3p bro, I don't think that the PCI soundcard will work in a PCI-E port, or will it ? My mobo is a Msi Big bang x58 and it has got 6x pci ex16 slots and 1 pci ex1 slot, it doesn't even have an onboard sound chip, that's why need one urgently.

Its with the service centre , they will be giving me another sound card after about 1 month as they haven't got any in stock .

^So wait for a month.. You can't use a PCI card as you don't have a PCI slot. So you MUST buy a PCI-e card, which won't be cheap. So either wait or buy a cheap solution for the time being, a USB one specifically.

Am looking for the Asus xonar DGX which is the PCI-E version of DG and available for about 1800rs.
I will try to get a cheap USB one but I think they may require a Onboard sound chip to work
