Have 3 Questions,
Q-1 : Where are the rest of components like Mouse, Speakers etc. plz mention them too?
Q-2 : What about reducing 3k in GFX an adding it to Phenom II X4??
Q-3 : Nothing more than 35k is possible. & btw how's BenQ 22" n 4GB DDR3?

Also please provide Intel Counter part too.

1. for adding mouse, speakers and all i have to modify the entire rig now as you cant spend more than 35k.
2. its not recommended. for gaming you need a good graphics. phenom x4 is out of budget.
3. 20" monitor fits your budget. 4gb cant be fitted in your budget.

Athlon II x4 630 @ 4.5k
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H @ 4.5k
2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 2.5k
Zotac GTS450 1GB GDDR5 @ 8.2k
WD 500GB Blue @ 2k
LG H55N DVD @ 1k
Corsair CX400W @ 2.7k
CM elite 310 @ 1.5k
Dell S2009W 20" @ 6.5k
Creative SBS A200 @ 1.3k
Logitech Keyboard & Mouse @ 0.7k

Total - 35.4k (just 400 extra)

1. personal choice. so you should buy what you prefer.

2. if photoshop isn't high in your list of "to be used" apps, keep the config as it is.

3. Benq G2020HD 22" is a good one. cost around 7-7.5k. you can add another stick of ram later if you feel the need to.

sam what do you think of above config?

just the board you mentioned is really hard to find, until OP from Delhi or he buy it online from SMC. also Athlon II X4 630-635 price difference have to be checked once (this way the price will come down too). rest everything according to OP's requirements.

now yaar which mobos are easy to find under 5k. big problem is this!!

:agreed: AMD have cleared stock of the 7-series board & the 8-series board still above 5k. the only 4.5k board & its hard to find. this makes AMD loose the value tag immediately. 3-4k proccy on 6k board. WTH.

This mobo price is becoming really difficult to tackle. Ever since Bio* 785G3 HD disappeared, the board prices seem to keep moving up. AMD should understand that if mobo+proccy prices start touching that of an core i3 combo, more people will start moving to it as most people are anyways inclined to buy Intel.
For AMD, good boards at 4k is essential to keep the vfm factor in its favour. It is still not ready to compete with Intel based on performance, only price makes it the winner in the sub 50k category.

I suppose board's like biostar A780L3 or Gigabyte GA-MA74GMT-S2 or MSI 785GM-E51 could be good bets for a budget PC, if they are available. Although not as good as Giga's US2H or UD2H and low on features, the price is just right

why are you so crazy for phenom?
If you want a balanced gaming rig, you'll need a better gcard than that.
But if you reallly want a phenom.
Get the 955be and save money for gcard. It might be better cuz the prices are certainly falling after AMD 6 series launch.
Or else 635 + 5770 is a killer config.

look, If you want the PC for gaming, then Phenom is not going to give more than 2-3 FPS advantage as compared to Athlon. But if you buy athlon, the money saved will help you buy a much better graphics card and this will give you an advantage of more than 10-20 FPS depending on the game & settings.

Phenom II X4 945 is clocked at 3.0 Ghz while Athlon II X4 635 is clocked at 2.9 Ghz. The extra cache on Phenom, according to one review, creates a difference which can be compensated by a 200 Mhz speed boost on the Athlon. So for comparison's sake, let us say that 3.0 Ghz Phenom = 3.2 Ghz Athlon. So effectively, you want to pay Rs. 1700 for a 300 Mhz performance boost which you may never even notice in day to day usage.

Now please explain your logic why you want to buy Phenom?

And even after all this you want to buy a phenom atleast extend your budget by 300-400 and get HD5670

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB @ 2k
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD5670 512MB DDR5 @ 5k
DVD+R/W: LG H55N DVD @ 1k
PSU: FSP Saga II 500 Watts @ 2.5k or Corsair CX400W @ 2.7k

The rates mentioned are differing from market rates. Can anyone please give me the off street rates with 2-3 Shop names on Lamington or any other shop in Borivali.
