my system have dont know what is problem?? system is working very slow... system have 1.6ghz process, 512MB RAM, 160GB HD. intel dual core process... want to know that what is problem with my system and how can i solve thi sproblem???

1. Download & install Ccleaner to clear all junk from the PC.
2. Defrag the HDD
3. Remove unwanted Programs.
4. Scan for Viruses and Malware.

open task manager and check which process is taking max memory else go with Tech_Wiz's method. It is lengthy but usually pinpoints the problem.

May I Know Which OS you have Installed on your PC?

@ OP - by slow you meant what ? Like games are running slow, video playback is jerky, files/apps are taking forever too open, you have to wait for 10 mins before the OS is ready to use etc. just give us some examples of the slowness you are facing.

and 512MB ram ain't enough for modern pcs - if possible upgrade the amunt of ram to at-least 2GB.

Yes, that's probably due to his insufficient RAM. Upgrade to 2GB.

For your PC Windows XP will work Best & If you have installed Windows 7 then change it or Upgrade your RAM. If you have already installed Windows XP then Do a clean install Again if possible!
