Hello,

I have already seen reference thread for mobile may Edition.. But I am not able to make any decision.. I want phone for 5-6K, budget is little flexible but I don't think it will be needed according to requirements.

I want this phone for my mom. she was using 3120 classic which has started showing problems and at present it is in dead situation so looking for new phone.

she only uses phone to make calls and texting (sms) and occasionally to capture pics.. priority is

Good screen with large text.

So guys pls give your suggestions.

How about Micromax Ninja A50 with AISHA. Specs look great for 4.8k.
Else get Samsung Galaxy Y for 6.8k.

avoid those touchscreen or touch&type mobiles. typing is not easy. battery backup is bad. camera is below par. no use giving a feature loaded mobile when its not easy to use. give her Samsung Primo. lot better camera & UI is easy as no touch is involved.

^^ thanks for that will not go for those phones. well was not planning to after reading all problems as I mentioned

Samsung S5610(primo), nice phone looks great at spec but after reading users opinions it does not look good, First no theme support. second very low app memory no app can be installed..

Any more phone , budget is flexible.. so no problem if it goes up.. but need good phone.

I know up comes android but it will fail at battery.. how about any samsung bada or should I consider android.. she won't have any problem using android though

First no theme support.

Samsung feature phone doesn't support themes like Nokia. if it ships with theme then ok, else there is almost no chance of finding themes.

second very low app memory no app can be installed..

Your call. Wave Y is not bad but just a bit too basic for most. and lack of essential apps hurts it more. but bigger screen does help and the screen is really bright. have used it. other than the screen didn't like anything. Should have used Android instead of BADA, would have been even better :)

Also Wave Y looks lot better than Galaxy Y which looks like a toy.

Before considering a Bada phone, know that Samsung is killing Bada sometime next year. Expect no further app. development and stuff...

Budget 10K

so guys which is better optimus net or HTC Explorer.. ?

I am swinging towards net because of auto foucs and better battery, better internal storage..

which is better in 800mhz ARMv11 or 600MHZ cortex5?

UI needs to be smooth no lags
