Mobile Buy:HTC CHACHA or MOTOROLA DEFY

Right off the assembly line
Hi,

I have a Nokia user all this time but now I am thinkin of a change. I have zeroed in on two handsets:Motorola Defy and HTC Chacha(Had to do a lot of R&D for it though). As it will be my first ever interaction with any other handset ,for the matter of fact even the OS, I am not to sure which one to go for.

The specs I am looking for are:
1. a decent music player
2. a good camera
3. good internet browser
4. decent battery back up(tough to expect from android but still..)

So I request you guys to please help me out in this.Please tell which one should I chose and any pros and cons of the sets that you would like to share.

P.S.: Have to buy the cellphone pretty soon.

Thankyou all for your suggetions..

Abhi .. I have a budget of around 15-16K..

I am being circumspect in going for Defy as some of friends are against the notion of Motorola being able to provide a good smartphone considering its past history... The experiences have not been good especially with the body of the phone and after sales service.. :(

Motorola Defy is the best among the two but you should go for Motorola fire XTS which has a much better value for money.:mrgreen:

Fire XT vs Defy:
1. slow processor (same clock speed)
2. weak graphics processor
3. no gorilla glass or hardened body
4. almost double resolution
5. only 512Mb storage vs 2Gb built in
6. bigger screen

but XT have:
1. front cam
2. Android 2.3 based (doesn't matter as motorola UI spoils everything)
3. cheaper by 2-3k

so Defy is still VFM considering the huge list of added features you are getting.

talking about motoblur.. does Defy have motoblur... and if yes.. how much affect does dat have on the UI..positive or negative??

motorola defy is amazing phone with great look and big screen then htc chacha

motorola defy great phone with great look and big screen i love motorola defy
but when you love facebook,so you go to take htc chacha
