Logitech G400 Problem?

Hai,

I have a Logitech G400 Mouse which was bought in April,2012. The problem is that when I use the scroll wheel it makes a clicking sound and that sound has increased now otherwise it is working perfectly. What is the cause of that clicking sound? Is it normal for all others who are using it?I used to have a MS Optical Mouse previously which did not make a sound when using the scroll wheel but it was some what silent compared to G400. The sound is coming when scrolling only one way and that is towards me or inwards.

The sound is like this while scrolling: taka taka(slow) or tak tak(faster)

I think it is the mouse's build, but for me the sound is hardly audible. I never noticed it, but I can feel some taka taka . thats it.

Use white grease, the one used for plastics. the sound will go away.

I dont even hear those taka takas and click clicks.. thanks to the audio gear I use (check in my siggy for details)
