Is Yahoo Mail down today (Aug 15th 2008) ?

Hi everyone, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY !

ok is yahoo mail not opening for anyone else ? I've been tryin for the past half hour but i'm gettin no response from the site, is everyone facing this problem or am I the only one ?

that's funny cause I can't access *mail.yahoo.com/ or from yahoo's main page either, is yours a co.in account ? because mine is a .com

I tried pinging mail.yahoo.com but it fails but www.yahoo.com pings sucessfully... wonder what's wrong,

oh must have been a temporary problem, alls fine now, after 1 and a half hour of downtime for me...
