Due to space constraints, i had copy-pasted two folders from my D: partition to C: partition. The folders (which i had copied) to C: are visible in windows. When i boot into ubuntu and mount the same partition, these two folders are not to be seen. I can see the other folders, yet these two folders which i had copy-pasted from D: is not to be found.

Can anyone shed light into it ?

Mods please close this thread as i got the reply for similar query from ubuntu official forum.

Click Places>Home Folder
Once in there click View then look for show hidden folders

That solved my simple query.
