HTC One X+ vs. Apple iPhone 5

Back to school!!
I'll come in to post this:
HTC Butterfly vs. Apple iPhone 5 - GSMArena.com

With your budget I'd just buy the HTC butterfly, it beats iphone 5 in every category, actually its not a fight at all, its like bmw(3xx series) vs a jaguar, just look at that gawd damn screen, 1920x1080 @ 442ppi, quad core krait will spank any processor in the mobile market this quarter, period, plus 2GB RAM, sd card support, nfc, jelly bean at start, even the front camera of butterfly records @ 1080P, larger battery, gorilla glass 2 etc etc.

You really shouldn't, not now, there are phones like butterfly that already beat it and new iphone is coming soon.

Not sure if I'm going poor or these goddamn super smart phones are overpriced # just saying :D btw op should get droid if he is intrested in customisation

At airtel stores the one available are GSM but are generally locked to Airtel so don't buy from there.
And at mobile store also the GSM version is available.
Buy online, you will get it at a much lesser price, and if you don't wish to get any discount then I recommend you to buy from Apple official store.

It is already there, HTC has given a price tag of 50k, but no worries it will go down in a couple days as soon as it is available in market.

Check out the specs at GSMARENA and the device has been launched in India just a couple of days back but with an unjustified price tag

The price tag would be around 50k, same as iPhone(or lower), now you decide, I already posted the specs comparison, do you see any single field in which iphone wins over butterfly?

lol how can people who don't even have spend some quality time with both the devices proclaim that one x+ is 'far behind' ip5 in terms of build quality and durability ?
no offense but OP don't fall for this :p Its up to you don't go by popular opinion rather decide which ecosystem fits you better then decide .

ps : i find such queries childish (again no offense meant) - i mean how come people can't decide for themselves which ecosystem/platform they are looking for ?(and i presume that there are more than enough resources available online and offline that can help you on this) - if one likes ios - the obvious choice would be ip4s/ip5 and likewise if one thinks droid (or wp) fits him better - then he/she can try to get sane advice on droidx vs droid y (ex. s3 vs one x) and that will make lot more sense. No offense (did i mention this earlier ?) but such threads are no better than 'apple vs android' ones and seems like nothing but ignorance (as you've failed to choose an ecosystem at first place - now don't tell me you were confused between android and ios for you are a college student) as however well moderated it is , ultimately (more like inevitably) fanboyism will creep in .

I agree with you. If one finds iOS or WP or Android best suited for him, He should not suggest the same to others(who may have different views). Only the buyer has to decide which OS makes more sense to him.
