how to use the xp home cd

I got a cd labelled as Windows XP Home Sp1a now i want to install that xp but has the following directories and i dont know how to use them

RecoveryCD:\acer\image\wxpenper(image file)("when clicked says invalid image length and to enter the correct values )

RecoveryCD:\acer\image\wxpenper(notepad file)(has lots of pages of file names)

RecoveryCD:\acer\tools\gddisk(exe file which when clicked opens in command prompt asks to boot in dos as it cant support nt
)
RecoveryCD:\acer\tools\ghostro(exe file which opens in command prompt saying insert diskette

RecoveryCD:\acer\rycdinfo( notepad) which has the following details

This isn't exactly XP cd. It is some recovery cd supplied by acer. If you bought your computer from acer, this might be some backup cd for windows XP. I don't have much idea.
If this cd didn't come with your computer, it just won't work.

If you own ACER PC , then you should contact the vendor from whom you bought the PC or just call the Acer Help Line.

If your PC is not an Acer Brand then this CD/DVD wont work on it.
Just as "tech_your_future" said in above reply.
