how to save files to HDD while running live cd?

I'm learning Unix Shell programming at college.
So I use Knoppix Live's Konsole to practice the programs at home.
The created .sh files are stored in the ram.

How to I save them to the hard disk?

If you have a FAT partition then mount it using Knoppix CD and save the files on this partition. You can also write CDs using Knoppix (iirc) so save those files on CD.

If i remember right there is an option to save files on hard disk in knoppix. But I am not sure it is only for config files or all files. As eddie said you can use FAT32 partition or even any linux partitions you've got. Knoppis will have them mounted by itself you just have to save the files there.
