Hibernate option

I have Win7 OS install in my pc. but it has no hibernate option . please help me how to active and show up Hibernate option right side of shut down buttom . please help me.

Enter in the privileged command prompt

powercfg -h on

You have to enable Hibernate through control panel in power options i think. In XP, this option was there in power options.

'powercfg -h on' in administrator command prompt should work.

make sure you have free space in C drive at least 200-300mb greater than the size of your ram.e.g.if you have 4gb ram make sure to have at least 4.3gb free space in C drive.

i have 1GB RAM with C:11.9 GB Free space !!

i have try in admin command .not displayed hibernate option !!

go to power option in windows 7 change option in plan you are using you will find hybrid sleep mode just disable it.now you can find hibernate.
