Help me regarding software editing

hi friends

my friend is running a medical shop he purchaged a software now he want to change the CD information like COmpany name and address like that is there any software to change the information........

Note: he have only setup CD.........

I think changing the name and other things in a paid software is not legal.If it's legal try with resource hacker software.
