Graphic card

I have specs: CPU-Quad core-Q9400, MB:Intel-DG45ID onboard graphics, Benq-G2412HD monitor, I-ball cabinet with PSU,
I want to purchase Graphic card for gaming and PSU for total budget of 8k to 9k.
Pl suggest which is good GPU - ATI or Nvidia, and which brands.

HD 6850 alone covers 9k, and he wants both GPU and PSU for 9k. No use of getting such high end card w/o a decent PSU.

My choice:
1. ATi
GPU: HD 6770 -- 7k
PSU: FSP SAGAII 500W -- 2.2k
Total --- 9.2k

2. NVIDIA
GPU: GTX 550Ti -- 7.8k
PSU: FSP SAGAII 500W -- 2.2k
Total --- 10k

Both are almost equal but GTX 500Ti performs slightly better than 6770. And the main reason of suggesting GTX 550Ti is because of PHYSX and CUDA support on NVIDIA Cards.

As a hardcore nvidia fan, my vote goes to 2nd option.

Well, at 7.8K, Sapphire HD 6790 is available which can easily beat GTX 550 Ti. I think then Sapphire HD 6790 + FSP SAGA II 500W will be the highest performer.

Check for the HD 6790 price here.

Ys, FSP SAGA II 500 can handle a Core2Quad and HD 6790 without any issue. It has maximum power consumption of 104W in full load. In fact a good 450W PSU can handle it.
In guru3d power consumption test with a 3.75 GHz overclocked i7 965, the power consumption never exceeds 245W. Add another 50W for CPU load (although it will be far below 50W) and the total system consumption will be around 295W, below 300W. So FSP SAGA II 500W can handle it very easily.

Thanx friends for helping me to get GPU and PSU, and I will go for HD6770 and sagaFSP-500w. I will give order within two days. One last question - Is there will be any sort of bottleneck of CPU, MB ?, will it support and also i have I-ball sparsh ATX cabinet, will all fit into it.
