Re: Dual sim with l-o-n-g battery backup !

Here is how i use mobile:

i hate charging it, therefore want something that can go at least 15 days at one charge. i normally keep the fone switched off in the night.

i don't talk much in fone, may be 10-15 mins a day if i talk at all.

i m a fan of bsnl but bsnl network is not good at times, therefore need a backup connection. i don't need dual active phone, just one active at a time is ok.

so long i have heard about nokia C1 & samsung E2152, but unfortunately C1 practically has nothing, other than fonecall & sms and i am very unsure about their battery backups.

someone guide me through this please. (my current 2.5 yr old motorola a810 touchscreen is giving me nightmares atm)

Ans: LG GX200 is value for money for you. It has daul sims and long battery backup. I am using it since one year and I used to recharge it after 10 days.
So try it.

Re: Dual sim with l-o-n-g battery backup !

it never happens practically..... its just theoretically..... its basically single sim (not dual standby ) phone, and have 1500mah battery, that means it should give roughly 5-10 days backup with normal use.....

LG GX200 is has nice battery backup, but seems it has some hardware reliability issues - hangs, lags etc. i would like to hear from ppl who own this set.

Re: dual sim phn with some features

@raj, if you are content with whatever is installed in the phone, go with samsung. but if you like playing java games & software, stay away from sammy's mobile.

PS: by sammy i mean samsung,not sammy_cool ;-)

absolutely! Now-a-days, Samsung's low end phones have a good/excellent overall software package [it includes a dictionary, a chat application, few games, nice UI and effects BUT no user customizable themes]...it's obviously better than Nokia's S40. As an end user, i think samsung's software is a bit more stable than S40 (i.e less random restart on heavy use and etc. etc.)
