You have summed up everything really well, nothing much to say. Only one suggestion from my side...if possible increase your budget a bit and try to get hands on the new Asus Z68 based motherboard, available around 13K.

is the MSI OC model worth the extra money against the regular 560 Ti?

Also, I have never used non nvidia cards. So if one goes for MSI's build then can we use the drivers provided by nvidia or have to wait each time before MSI provides an update?

^ Create your own thread about your requirement and ask over there. However , there is no such thing as MSI customized driver for their cards...you have to use the nVidia driver.

whats the price of asus P8Z68 V-PRO, and what are advantages of z68 over p67

should cost around 13k if I am right.

1. switchable graphics
2. better performance tuning
3. Intel Smart Response Technology (for SSDs)
4. full overclocking support for CPU, memory and integrated graphics

is there any use of swithchable graphics in desktop,i think switchable graphics are used in laptops to get more from the battery.I can not find asus z68 mobo on lynx india site.I will purchse these items from the lynx shop in chadigarh. Is there any shop in chandigarh where i can find asus z68 mobo along with other components

Actually the current generation Intel on Die graphics core, coupled with Quick sync technology performs best in all the graphics card accelerated applications like audio/video editing, better than any nVidia or AMD cards. But in P67 mobos, ondie GPU can't be used.
The newer Z68 mobos, coupled with a software called Lucid Logic Virtue will automatically switch between the on die graphics and the dedicated card, depending upon the nature of the applications.
So if you are using Video converting software like Cyberlink Mediashow Espresso, it will be handled by Intel Quicksync but when you start to play games, it will be automatically directed to the dedicated Graphics card.

Thanx for ur indepth and thoughtful reply. Will add z68 mobo to the final rig.Which mobo u think is better asus z68 or gigabyte z68.I think gigabyte one is cheaper

Actually not all the Gigabyte Z68 mobos support Virtue, only 5 of them support it. But the sad thing is they are not available in any Online Hardware shops. The cheapest one is GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3R-B3 @ 10.25K, but lacks theLucid Virtue support.
Another one is GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 , should be available within 11K, supports Virtue but did not find it in any shop. You can check in your local shops for its availability while making your purchase.

yes, MSI GTX 560Ti Twin Fozr II is worth the extra money over a regular GTX 560Ti.

And you use the drivers provided on nVidia's website.

Thanks. That was very helpful. I need to get a new gfx card as my current 8800GT is now a 'minimum requirement' for the latest games..

nilgtx260, don't talk rubbish...check some reviews of the GS series PSU before commenting. From the last couple of weeks, me and other guys are posting tons of reviews to show you guys how good is the GS series. Here a lot of forum members like Jaskanwar, Tenida are using GS series PSU with their high end configs.
And VX series is officially EOL, it is very hard to find one. However, the price of TX V2 series PSUs have been reduced a lot. Now TX 650 V2 is available @ 5.2K

Is asus p8p67 pro good mobo??? I think asus p8z68 v-pro will go out of my budget. Also z68 has 1. Integrated graphics support ,which will not help in gaming 2. SSD Catching, which will not be of my use as am not including a ssd in the rig and if i add a ssd in future,it would be 160gb or more

I too am using a GS700 on an i5 / HD6970 rig. Works fine. Another user is Tenida with the same PSU.
