Gaming rig 30k

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Gaming (All recent but can compromise in quality i.e can play in low to med resolution), General Use (word,excel)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 30k (+ - 1k)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Window 7 Home Premium for now and may be Win8 in future (not near)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500 GB HDD wud be enough

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Maybe, i already have of low resolution (1366 X 768) but please suggest one (this wud be excluded from my budget i.e. 30k)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: K&M, Speaker, UPS

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Mid April

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No a Assembler will do it

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Delhi (near Nehru Palace). Yeah open to online shopping but only COD

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I wud prefer processor from Intel (may be i5 dnt knw abt generation

)

Perfect config, just some corrections:

> WD blue 500 GB is available for 2900
> Net NZXT Gamma instead of CM elite, it's much better.
> Get the 2 GB version of Zotac GTX 650ti. The 2 GB version is available for 11k

@OP: For mobitor, get Dell st2240L 22" LED IPS monitor available for 8500.

^+1 for the config. If you increase your budget to 35K , you will have the powerful HD 7850 in ur hands.

I found no difference between 3220 and 3210 except the 100 MHz higher clock rate of 3220. Get 3210 as it's quite cheap.

I was also surprised to see the i3 3210 @ 5.8K. You can go with that itself.

At lower resolutions the burden comes to the cpu. Till now I was thinking op is having a 1080P monitor. My bad.

So shud i buy corsair vengance or corsair value? Though i will not be overclocking but price just differ by 100 in them as u guys stated above. So wont it be gud to buy vengance?

PS: I dont knw difference b/w them

my suggestion would be to stick to 650ti for minimum, if gaming is the priority @ full HD, else you should stick to HD7770.
now, Corsair Value 4GB costs ~1.2k and this is one amazing RAM, very reliable, can easily be OCed to well above 1600MHz with tight timings. get it eyes closed.
see if u can reuse ur old cabinet, that will save you some money.

but first decide on what resolution u will be playing at, graphics card model totally depends on this.

get any of the ram no matters as there will be just 2% performance difference between ram running at 1333mhz and 1600mhz(not noticable to naked eyes.

But if the price difference between a 1333 MHz ram and a 1600 MHz ram is just 100 or 130 rs, then get the 1600 MHz one. 2% improvement for Rs 100 is good

I wud be happy to save 2000 on cabinet but my old PC is COMPAQ presario and i dont think it wud be fine for a new rig due to its size, condition, it dont even place for front ports of USB
and for around a year i wud be playing on this resolution itself i.e. on 1366 X 768 so for this resolution is shud go for HD 777-0 or HD 7750 as previously said i can compromise in quality and can play in med to low settings

And will i need to buy a cooling system as well?
