You can take out cpu cooler,4gb ram & add another 4gb ram/cooler later..
That will bring total down to 63,900 .

And in this way you will get powerful gpu like hd7870 :)

@funskar - OP is asking for 60K (5k max he can spend additional) and you are suggesting 76k rig ?? This is absolutely misleading mate.
Read the budget first. 60K.... and additional 5k is buffer.. max he can spend. That doesn't mean he needs to spend 65K.
I could have understood your laughs if you would have laughed about CPU + GPU or Mobo + CPU combination, not Mobo + GPU combination... really weird !!! And where are you getting 7870 GHz edition for 18400 ?? cheapest I heard is from mdcomputers @20k
And for overclocking you are suggesting to remove CPU cooler ?????? Are you kidding ???? You know how horrible the HSFs are which come with Intel CPUs.
Also, if OP is to play Max Payne 3... he'll need 8GB RAM so that 4GB suggestion in not suitable for OP. Also the price difference between GS500 and GS600 is not 100Rs as it seems from your suggestion... GS500 comes at 4k, GX550 comes at 4300 & GS60 will cost at least 4700.

Don't suggest rigs just for sake of suggesting and taking dig at others suggestions... study the market first.

And BTW... @funskar only stated that 7870GHz is now shipping at 19K.. and here he is stating it for 18.4K ????

Motherboard wise... Asus P8Z77-V has 8+4 phase design where as P8Z77-M Pro has 6+2 design. So for overclocking P8Z77-V is suggested than P8Z77-M Pro for stability and OC headroom.

Ya, I don't think HD 7870 is available at sub 20K price anywhere. BTW, HD 7770 is not a good choice for full HD gaming and HD 7850 is advised here. For Motherboard, get Gigabyte G1 Sniper M3 @ 11.2K (Theitwares.com) and use the rest of the money for a better Graphics card.

Check sub total . it was mistaken..
The correct sub total is 67500 only..
And you can see last lines of that post..

By taking out cooler n 4gb ram op can get a much better powerful gaming rig..
And you can't maxed out max payne 3 bf3 etc on hd 7770 wid Asus P8Z77-V 8+4 phase design mobo.
Bt You can maxed out those games on hd7870 wid asus P8Z77-M Pro 6+2 phase design mobo.
And asus p8z77 m pro is also a good mobo.

A gaming rig wid 7770+16k mobo is no way brainer than 7870+12k .

Bro.. Saphire hd7870 ghz edtn is going for 18.4k locally n 19k shipped..
I had confirmed it with one of my frnd..
And I m also telling I can arrange a 7870ghz edition for 19k shipped.

@OP - Only mdcomputers.in is selling Sapphire HD7870 GHz for 20.5K. But its out of budget if you need a balanced config. If you need to play in full HD resolutions don't compromise on RAM. Also there is no point in compromising on CPU Cooler if you are going to overclock.
Here is the updated rig with inclusion of HD7850 & G1 mobo as Cilus suggested. I'm sure you can get all these components for below 65K which is your maximum stretched budget. And if you can extend the budget by further 4k then get Sapphire HD7870 GHz from below link.

Beware of Sapphire products from Flipkart. I have found at least 3 known cases till now when flipkart cancelled the orders for Sapphire cards after 6 to 9 days of placing them with reason of unavailability with distributors.
One of the case happened with our fellow TDF member for Sapphire HD7950 OC edition. (Now flipkart has marked 7950 as out of stock though).

Very good board. Can be easily suggested over asus z77-m pro.

For a 60K Rig , Get Atleast a GS600 and also since you are gonna OC a GS600 or S12 620W will be Minimum.

Ok What if I don't want to overclock (no prior experience of doing it :-() .... how will that affect the performance and configuration of the machine

yochan

Broken In
Get G1 Sniper M3 mobo instead of asus z77 m pro.
And let rest of the config as I suggested..

asrock z77 extreme 4 is available for 9300rs from ctc hyderabad...far better than any of ur options...7850 is 17000rs n 7870 is 19500rs in our local market ...i5 3570k is 14000rs oddly enough...dont buy online they cost more first check prices at ur local store

also the reason why 7870 prices have dropped is because the indian versions are unstable my frnd exchanged twice n settled for 7850

Dont go for ASRock mobos... build quality is nowhere to be compared with Gigabyte, Asus or MSI.. I have personal experience with ASRock. Those boards are VFM and have all the features we'll need but are let down by Build Quality.
Price wise difference between G1 Sniper and Extreme4 is only 1.5K'ish... and dont think that Extreme4 is better than G1 since G1 is mATX. :)
