Games similar to Sim City 4

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a city building game similar to Sim City 4. The game should allow me to build a city, manage its infrastructure, manage revenue and profits, and stuff like that.

Can you guys please suggest a game like that for me? I liked Sim City 4, but it is a very old game and works terrible in Win7. I'm looking for an alternative. Please suggest a good game guys.

Haven't played but tropico is similar I think
Also caesar series is another one.

Caesar III is good, IV is just poor gfx update in sacrifice of good gameplay.

Tropico is ok, Civ City is good, but will get bored in few days. If you dont mind trying old games, Zeus : Master of olympus is awesome game and try the expansion packs also.

Wasn't there a game called Cities XL or something like that a couple of years back.

^^ Cities XL is BS. Gameplay is PITA and no solid story. Only upside is its graphics.

looks like all the moron devs throw 90% of their resources into graphics, 9% on voiceacting and the rest to actual gameplay.

i'd rather play wing commander than hawx.
