We're working on the latest (non 4.0) version of VB at the moment. VB themselves have asked big board users like us to avoid changing to 4.0 before long term tests are done. So VB 4 will not be implemented in a hurry. We are working on getting the latest version running with all the necessary modifications and without any of the errors. That should happen soon.

We're all a little busy with Feb issue closing, so updates might be a little sparse, but we're working on this in the background. Still haven't been able to find what broke the ajax and attachments. Will let you know as soon as I do...

Ok raaabo here's some more suggestion:
1. I think Team Digit can afford assignig a small team for just this site. Which'll help us a lot. You can also assign from even the readers/members.

2. I know this is a "hatke" request. But could you please one more page?? One of which is completely for pre-assembled rigs. I mean you can divide budgets such as 12k, 20k etc etc and suggest the best rig on that budget. I know there is already a thread in forum but that never get's updated. I mean we get many threads everyday for the same budget and even same purpose asking for suggestion. This would help us to eliminate this and also get instant help, if no one is active.

3. This suggestion is for magazine. First of all thanks a lot lot lot for continuing Price Watch in each issue. But please increase the pages and add more catagories please. And only add VFM products there. The Killer Rig page, I think just does nothing. Rather remove the images and add simple text based configurations. In this way you can give us more budget specific rigs. I mean the basic rig is for 21k and then jumps to 81k and then to 1,51k??? Rather give us text based configurations and divide budgets in this way : 15k, 25k, 30k, 40k, 60-70k etc. And if you can't do this please try to do the same in website. If you even can't add one more page try updating the existing configuration thread every month. I think this would be possible for you.

Can't answer the 1st and 3rd query as I'm just a member but this thread is updated regularly and has all the pre-built rigs as you requested: *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96218
Look in the first page for the rigs.

Raaabo did you do something with the page cache settings? It's caching old data.. Like when i close a thread, and go back, it shows the thread as open. I have to manually refresh :/

I think at least one more price bracket would be good...

Planning to do the payment on or after Feb 17th. Will my subscription start from March, or April?

Hi all, you might start to experience some bugs like double-posts or "You cannot post so soon" errors over the next few days or so. Just wanted to let you know that this is intentional, and I've left Ajax on to re-start the troubleshooting process.

Forum has been upgraded to 3.8.4 PL2, but still the Ajax problems continue. Personally I think it's time for a new database, and a new start. Also trying to fix the width problem with a new theme. Will keep you updated on that as soon as I know something.

^ I think there are cache related issues.

Try posting a post and then Edit it. You won't be able to see the changes reflected. You'll have to do a hard refresh. And if you then go to the Edit page again, you still get the old contents.

Let me see whether it's still there or not.

It's still there.

AJAX is still not working. So, I guess it's the time for a new database and a new start.

Moreover, after the 4.0.1 update, vBulletin 4 is more stable. I guess it fixes over 200 bugs. You might consider it once again.

VB4 is still not completely tested in a production environment, but I will upgrade to that once it is ready. For now, I'll stick to solving the problems that exist, even after upgrading to the latest 3.8.X version.
