folder double click makes search to open up

[confused!!]

I am having this problem that whenever I double click on any folder, windows search for that folder pops up, even in right click menu searh is the first option...how to disable search and revert back to opening of folders

In Explorer goto
Tools->Folder Options
On the File Types tab select "Folder" file type
press "Advanced" option if Explore option is there Press default if its not there then goto
new, give it the name explore and in the application field type explorer.exe. press set default,press ok.
