also buddy for example BF3, games are mostly becoming more independent of cpu. (just quad core preferred)

Is it anyway possible to buy equivalent Intel configuration if i don't buy HDD, Monitor, Keyboard-Mouse right now?

Then HD6770 will be future-proof ??
And there's not much difference between 6770 and 6750.A powerful processor always better I guess for future computing.For Fifa series HD6750 is sufficient.
If you don't like the config. give your own one.No one stopping you to do that.

and you are wrong in saying 6750 and 6770 less difference.
AnandTech - Bench - GPU11
and GTS450 faster than 6750. so just for comparison as anandtech haven't included 6750.

I would have suggested HD6770 or HD6790 if OP like to play other than Fifa series.HD6670 is enough to power fifa series.

fifa is nothing until you have Microsoft Xbox360 Controller @ 1.3k and a 22" full hd screen.

Personally I never played fifa, so don't have any idea. BTW, nice addition to my knowledge.

Processor should be more powerful to handle next gen games. X4 will be better suited for gaming then Athlon. Think in future if he want to play more games then his Athlon will bottleneck.

check reviews of BF3 for example, everything from core i7 2600k to athlon II x4 and to dual core is giving same fps.

and athlon x4 bottlenecking a 6790. impossible.

After five years even my 560ti will perform like entry level card, forget about hd6790.

But Jas, BF3 is highly GPU dependent game and it just need a CPU which can handle the GPU without getting bottlenecked. There are certain CPU dependent games too (Like GTA 4) which stress CPU a lot. Also OP has mentioned that he wants a system for longterm use.Also it offers better overclocking potential too because it is a black edition CPU and comes with a better Heatsink.
So combining all these cases I guess Phenom II X4 955 is a better choice here for long term use.
But I also agree with you that HD 6770 is also good choice.

My suggestion will be Phenom II X4 955 + Sapphire HD 6750.
