@imav, Ubuntu's impetus has brought revolution in PC world & when revolution comes one starts adapting to it, your just another Victim of it gradually following revolution, probably you'll take your time. But once you like abt its good features , it'll $uck u into its core getting you mesmerised(eg. DarkLord) & that will blow off ur brains.

Then, do us all a favour, this is the Technology section, if you have anything to say against linux deployment, please take those to the fight club as your thread is still open. Don't give off topic comments and make other users shout at you.

Anyways I dunno about developed countries but countries like ours and other poor countries should better adopt linux cos they can't pay for windows.I know our college has hundreds of purated autocad and windows installations and I feel bad but they really can't pay 20k-30k for each autocad and 3-4k for xp,they have no choice.

in Microsoft only the Top Officials fear Linux that is the management
because they have lots of share in MS and they want money

where as at Engineering level they respect it and have problems with linux

as you know Windows Architecture was borrowed from UNIX

other people in MS don't care about linux vs windows. they are just into improving computing. MSDN for example
