DVI cable help needed urgently

I'll be buying a DVI cable today. I'm in Kolkata btw. What'll be the typical price and where to buy? Thanks guys. Will be leaving in a few hours...

I bought my dvi cable 2 years back @ 300 bucks. Should be the same or even cheaper now.

Got the cable guys. It was 350 but i like the quality. Nice PSU style braided cable with two fat plastic cylinders near each end(God knows what they're for). But on a more serious note I'm yet to understand any difference between this and the VGA cable(picture quality).

I use a VGA monitor. I can live without DVI.

The cylinders are for protection against cable flexing I guess.

I bought that same DVI cable from Vedant 1 yr back @250 bucks..description matches with mine!!

I bought mine from Om Electronics [ opposite of Sabirs Hotel , most shops redirect you to them for cables ]

It had copperheads , cost Rs 300.

FYI , HDMI Rs 250 , Rs 675 , Rs 950.

DVI - Rs 200 , Rs 300 , Rs 450
