Do I need a heatsink?

Hi all,

a) Rig spec in my sig
b) I do not overclock
c) Only heavy duty is video encoding and phptoshop/illustrator. I am a regular torrent user and releaser, so that I have to video encode regularly.
d) I have only one case fan (that comes with NZXT Gamma)
e) Stock AMD heatsink
f) CPU temps:
Idle:30-31 (in centigrades)
Normal jobs (browsing, movies, etc): 40-50 (in centigrades)
Video-encoding: 70-85 (in centigrades)

1) Do I need to get an aftermarket heatsink?
2) If so, what model would you recommend?
3) Or, adding some case fans / replacing heatsink fan will reduce the temp?
4) Is the temperature ok? And, I need to do nothing.

Personally I was thinking of adding some case fans and set up a proper heat flow system and see the temperature, and then would like to decide on heatsink / heatsink fan.
5) Please suggest some good 120mm / 140mm case fans.
(LED may or may not be present. Its useless for me. Having it or not doesn't make a difference. Low sound, though, is a concern.)

^^ remove HSF, remove the stock TIM & apply a fresh coat of new TIM. not just any locally available one. above 75degree, its in the danger zone. even during video encoding max temperature shouldn't cross 55.

if even then the temperature doesn't drop below 55-60, its a matter of concern. for now no need waste money in a new HSF.

I decided to buy it online. That will be easier for me. I saw some reviews, discussions and checked the online shops. I found this five:

Tuniq TX-4 (Rs. 500) - link
Tuniq TX-3 (Rs. 430) - link
Arctic Cooling MX-2 (Rs. 350) - link
Arctic Silver 5 (Rs. 410) - link
Cooler Master Thermal Fusion 400 (Rs. 475) - link

I am thinking of getting the Arctic Cooling MX-2 since the reviews say its a good one and non-conducting, and also the lowest in price among the good TIMs available online.

However, all the quoted above is within my budget and I need to get lower temps. So, please pick the best one.

A big thanks to you all for your help.

dont have any idea about tuniq
but arctic cooling and cooler master both are reliable

if u are not going for hardcore OCing then choose the cheapest
