Diploma In Information Security Management

I came across this course in security management which is being conducted by IDEMI which comes under MSME (Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises)

I wanted to do a course in network security but I was hesitating as there are many shady courses without any proper recognition. But as this course is being conducted by a government body, I don't think recognition will be an issue.

What do you guys think?

In today's market, most of the employers seek atleast one defensive and one offensive security certificate as recommended, if you are interested in network security, you can go for CCNA->CCNP Security..
CCNA Security: CCNA Security Certification - IT Certifications and Career Paths - Cisco Systems
CCNP Security: CCNP Security - IT Certifications and Career Paths - Cisco Systems

Both would cover the defensive security part and are globally well recognized, if you want to go further, you can add some offensive security certs like CEH or Security+ as starters:
CEH: CEH: Certified Ethical Hacking course from EC-Council
Security+: Security certification, CompTIA Security+ certification
