Database Question.

I got a Domain on which IPB is installed. [forums]

On Subdomain I got Gallery [Photo Management Software] installed.

Now thing is both use MySQL DBs. I was wondering weither its possible that there is a Single login for both. So WHen a user logs in on the Portal Page he doesnt have to relogin to Access Gallery.

How to do this

Why do you want to give the user the access to the gallery.
All gallery pics can be viewed without a login. Do you want your users to be the admin of your gallery?

For posting the Pics I think they will need a Standard user Access? or am I wrong here>?

yes this can be done using bridges..

AFAIK there are bridges for connecting Joomla+SMF, SMF+coppermine photo gallery etcetra... to have single login for both

just search for the bridge for the two softwares you are using
