Am using WinXP Pro SPP1 with 5112 mb ram.

I have a multimedia CD ROM disc. It works perfectly on the PC. But on stand alone DVD/VCD player it shows invalid media.

Is it possible to convert the multimedia information on the disc to vcd ?
Suggestions and help needed badly.

What sort of multimedia information?
Is it a Dat file you find regularly on a VCD/ a power point presentation or a flash file or some executable?
Its a difficult job to convert them in to usual player formats and may be impossible.

Nope sorry pal....ur Vcd could just support The Vcd Movie files....may be the Audio Discs and Also to some extent the Mp3 files.....but a sure no no to those multimedia discs.... :(

btw a DVD player could also support .jpg Photo discs at the most but they too cant read this discs unless coded in the formats specified to be played....also what does this multimedia disc of urs contain...if they are .mpg files then u can have em burned on a separate disc via nero using the VCD option and then possibly it might play the video files...besides this aint a DVD-Rom boss just a DVD player which is meant for movie, music and photo viewing and not Pc's data disc readin purposes
