confused over buying phone

uses: listenin,watching,Pdfs,video recording.
os:windows / android

i was prefering nokia lumia 800/820.. but getting negative feeds lik hanging up,heat issues, battery life.
suggest me one.

initially i was wondering to get an Xperia. but found out many having prob with sound.no sound.may be after an update.i am not clear. two of my cousins also facing that issue,unresolved.

Go for HTC oneS, it is a great all rounder phone, has a very good display, amazing audio, and a great camera. Has a very capable hardware and looks pretty good too..

Go for Xperia SP.
Ok so if not SP, Then either save up for a Optimus G , or go for An windows phone.
Or the best deal is to wait for LG F7

i dont play heavy games on mobile becau am a PC gamer.
i lik sony brand but the no sound prob s not solved,its big hinderance 4 me to buy them.

and getting almost negative feedbacks for nokia lumia.but half buyers loving it.

am stuck.

i feel htc no stylish ,looks lik for business phones :(

I'm looking for an android in the same budget.. but could not get a good option. If you can deal with windows... L820 is surely a good one to go.. you seems to be concerned about look where L820 is ahead of its competitors.
For android.. I currently have three major options: HTC OneX, HTC oneS, Xperia SP

u r rite,i wann sometin stylish n colorful..yet should ve decent performance
musts are good resolution,dpi stuffs, 720 @30fps camrecording ,good battery. phone s for watchind videos mostly, listening.. game playing ve no value.
i would ve considered htc but found the drawback as battery life for them:(
i don lik samsung. Does LG provide quality products?sorry i dont know.
now L820 s my option. it has some heating problems and freezing too..

yup LG does provide more quality products than samsung.
1st Dual core - By LG (Optimus 2x)
1st Quad core - By LG - 4x HD
1st Touch screen phone - By LG - Prada.

Go for Optimus G.

this very common by most of xperia users.. and no proper solution.. i seen two of my cousins having same prob.. no sound on phone.so during calls we ve to turn on loud speaker or use headphone.. also no sound on video files :( / any multimedia that produce sound

Yesterday my friends Xperia P was facing same issue. got cleared automatically. but service center said it's normal issue & gets cleared after s/w update.

budget s not the main issue.. which is better.. 800 was told failure so i moved to 820...
initially liked 800 stil lik it..
got advice as go 4 L820..
so now wondering is L920 better of all!! ?
