Confused buying tablet under Rs 9000

I have dv6-6165tx but as I can't take that to my workplace, I'm thinking of buying a tablet budgeted @ Rs9000(max). My main concern is speed and touch sensitivity, and 7" screen is the max I can get in this budget. Tablet will be used to watch video tutorials, play hd video, listen to music, read eBooks, edit office documents, and practice some programming(dunno abt android OS much, heard there are 3rd party apps by which I can do that).
I don't need call function. I have found these as listed below so far.

Everything is good except speed (1.2 Ghz, 1GB DDR2 RAM- still slow and sluggish for apps?)

CPU : ARM Cortex-A10 At 1GHz ; that's good, right?
Cons: Android 2.3 Gingerbread

@OP- Btw. I will suggest you to go for Onda vi10 Elite from Veedee Enterprise.

Its far better tablet than funbook and other cheap tablet in terms of specs.

@op +1 for Onda vi10 Elite, its a gud deal at the price also if you are willing to invest a bit more get Ainol Novo 7 Aurora has above + a IPS display, saw a deal for around 10.5-11K at ebay, just search

Also if you are willing to wait, dual core Chinese Tabs are just round the corner, when they will arrive the cost will be more or less same to present single core ones, But you might have to wait around 1-2 months or even more...

Reason for onda over iberry is a no-brainer. You get similar cpu but with a much higher clock in onda. And not to forget the dul mali 400 which is a beast and used in expensive samsung galaxy tabs as well as galaxy note.

And china maal is sometimes advantageous and value for money than several local and lame products. Even the branded ones which charge a ridiculous premium for similar or slightly better hardware.

I didnt claim that its a poor quality product because of its chinese origin.

My point was towards the Biased naming of the SoC used in Onda nothing more nothing less.

AFAIK Cortex A10 Cores are currently not available to chip manufatcturers for SoCs.And the next gen Cortex Cores are A15 not A10.

Nothing like ARM Cortex A10 exists.

I think the line in Bold Should read like this "A10 ARM Cortex A8 1 Ghz"
