increase u r budget by 500bucks and get HD5670. Which PSU do u have?

even for 200 bucks more he can have a HD5670. IT wares selling it.

@OP, either get HD5670 512Mb from Sapphire through IT wares (or E-Lounge) or get a HD5570 1Gb. if you can, wait a couple of weeks, HD5570 1Gb GDDR5 will appear in Indian market. they'll be good buys but still HD5670 is a much better buy.

HD 5670 @ 5k easily beats GTS 250.Then why do we spent .8k more for an underperforming card ?

actually HD5670 beats GT240. not GTS250. but GTS250 = external power, more heat, no DX11, nor PS 5.0, 700-1k more.

also HD5670 OC can get close to GTS250 512Mb. so better invest the extra on a faster proccy than 2-3 extra FPS & a useless GPU by 2010 standard.

No man, performance wise, HD 5670 is slightly better than 9800 GT, having 112 Stream processor (Nvidia stream processor), whereas GTS 250 is a redesigned 9800+ GT with 128 stream processor. GTS 250 is marginally better than HD 5670, but again rightly pointed out by you, it needs more power and with Dx 11 games, its performance may not be satisfactory.
HD 5670 is the way to go for within 5k budget

usually in reviews both HD5670 512Mb as well as 9800GT are tie. GTS250 is little faster. OC should fill the gap. also 9-series now fading from market. hardly available anywhere. online portals have them on display usually, not stock.

my vote goes for 5670
why??
bcoz its available at 5k or so
needs no external power
very cool and quiet
performs almost equal to gts 250 and when overclocked , better than counterpart
dx 11 and SM 5.0

as said GTS250 is marginally better than HD5670. As per the benchmark comparison GTS250 can run some new games @ 1080p. But again it need good PSU and also. So the investment could go upto 8k if brought a good PSU.

HD4 series and Nvidia9 series are out now. Or else HD4850 & HD4770 were good alternatives but again they need external power.

HD5670 1GB + Overclock = powerful gaming on budget card.

If I had a good PSU & if I get both HD5670 1GB and GTS250 512MB @6K,I will chose GTS250 without any 2nd thought.....

@all, OP got a tri core @ 2.1Ghz. i think he best with HD5670 512Mb or lower. more graphics power + slow slow processor = bottlenecks.

BTW,can a zebronics 450w handle HD5670+2GHz dual core ?

i think you can use the PSU calculator on coolermaster outvision to calculate the total power required. as local PSU can't provide full rated power, so if the total power requirements come @ 180-220W. PSU should be able handle it.

okkkk thanks to all of you guys to helped me
now i thing i should buy
Sapphire Radeon HD5670 512MB DDR5 PCI-E 2.0
is it okkk??????its 5250 Rs on itwares
should i go with it????
and ya what is main effect of graphics memory(512 mb or 1 GB)????

^+1 go for it. There's nothing much effect of GFX memory if you have small monitor. i.e 512MB can handle monitors below 22" and for 22" and above you need 1GB memory.
