Cant erase CD-RW

I cant seem to format my CD-RW. I burned it with iTunes and now it doesn't erase.

Use Burnaware or PowerISO.

I use MAC OS X. Already tried Disk Utility. And tried nero and windows disk erase (default) on dad's comp. But to no avail.

Max number of rewriting is done on that RW. (its usually varies from 25 to 50)

Its gone.
But is it is CD/DVD writer issue, then..

tried in a number of OSes in a number of systems. And i know this is off-topic, but why does my superdrive eject some CDs before it even loads. more in windows than MAC OS X

Maybe Your Drive is failing or something else..

The issue depends on how old is the CD-RW & the no of writes done till now...

i bought the macbook on 7th march 2009.
the CD i bought sometime in 2009(august, maybe).
the write count has gotta be a lot more than 50.
