The laptop is a good choice but I would suggest to wait for 3rd gen intel core processor models to rollout. Currently the mentioned processor is available only on Alienware 17 but it will come to XPS and Inspiron lineups.
You can also check HP Pavilion dv6-7010tx priced around 61000. The key specs are:
3rd gen i7/6GB/640GB/2GB Graphics/15.6" screen and 3 USB 3.0 ports and beats audio with subwoofers

Wait till July if you're going to buy the XPS15. It'll be available with the 3rd gen Intel processors & FHD screen by then. Inspiron 15R is going to be upgraded as well (confirmed). Their entire lineup is going to change.

My advice: wait till June-July.

For gaming I suggest you get HP dv6 6165tx.

I have a question, I am about to buy the dv6-7010tx. The only factor stopping me from doing so is the screen. My question is, is it upgradable to 1080p and for how much? If not I'm going to wait for the XPS15 with the 3rd gen processors
